Advance Family Practice founder and Primary Care Physician
I started this practice 34 years ago and have no intention to retire anytime soon. I completed medical school at Grant Medical College in India in 1968, and then I continued to pursue additional residency programs. I pursued surgical residency at Kitwe Central Hospital in Zambia, East Africa after which I went on to pursue gynecological residency at Aberdare General Hospital in South Wales, United Kingdom. After that, I completed a rotating internship at Victoria Public Hospital in Fredericton, Canada.
I have worked in a variety of practices, prior to opening Advance Family Practice. I have served as medical director, in chronological order, of Family Practice of Halifax, Rosemont Healthcare Facility and Guardian Care. I was nominated Physician of the year by Florida Hospital in 2005. I have been a member of the Physicians Advisory Board and Florida Hospital Network Development for 16 years.
